Jalpaiguri, 27th July: The Jalpaiguri Lions Club has initiated the process to provide free oxygen cylinder service to the common people.
The announcement was made on behalf of the members of the Lions Club at an event in Jalpaiguri Aurobindo Park on Monday. The free service will be provided keeping in mind the current COVID-19 situation. The club members stated that the service has commenced with a total of 11 cylinders.
IPS officer Kalyan Mukherjee inaugurated the drive today. Lions Club cabinet member Subrata Bagchi stated similar initiatives are likely to be taken in the coming days.
