Jalpaiguri, 11th March: The Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Yuva Congress staged a protest against the attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram. They protested by burning tires in front of Kotwali Police Station around noon today.
It is to be noted that Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee was campaigning in Nandigram on Wednesday night, where she was allegedly attacked. She is currently undergoing treatment. The agitated Trinamool activists have been protesting across the state opposing the incident.
Saikat Chatterjee, the district president of the Yuva Trinamool, said that Mamata Banerjee was attacked in the past as well, however, nothing can stop her.
