Cooch Behar, 05th June: TMC candidate Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia offered his prayers at the Madanmohan Temple in Cooch Behar after his resounding victory in the Cooch Behar Lok Sabha constituency.
According to reports, District TMC President Abhijit Dey Bhowmik, TMC leader Rabindranath Ghosh, and others were also present. After offering his prayers, Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia stated that the citizens of Cooch Behar offer their prayers at the temple before an auspicious work, citing his prayer service at the temple before filing the nomination papers.
In this context, Basunia stated that he arrived at the temple on Wednesday to seek blessings for his responsibilities towards the people as the future MP. He further assured to raise his voice in the Parliament for the construction of a second bridge over the Torsha River in Cooch Behar.
