International Yoga Day observed at SAP 10th Battalion in Fulbari

Fulbari, 21st June: International Yoga Day was observed with enthusiasm at the State Armed Police (SAP) 10th Battalion in Dabgram on Sunday morning. The programme commenced at 6:30 am and saw the participation of around 400 police personnel, along with their family members and children.

As part of the nationwide observance of International Yoga Day, events were organised across West Bengal by various government and non-government organisations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took part in a special Yoga Day programme held in Kolkata.

During the event at the SAP 10th Battalion, trained instructors demonstrated various yoga asanas and pranayama techniques. Participants actively took part in the session and practiced different exercises under expert guidance.

Speakers highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being and overall health. The programme also aimed to spread awareness about the benefits of regular yoga practice and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Senior officers of the battalion were present at the event and joined participants in celebrating the occasion. The programme concluded with a message promoting health consciousness and the adoption of yoga as a daily habit.
