Illegal wood recovered from Dima tea garden of Kalchini

Kalchini, 23rd March: The Forest Department recovered illegal wood from Dima Tea Garden under the Kalchini block. Acting on a tip-off, Pana Mobile Range forest personnel launched a campaign and spotted the smugglers on three bicycles with the wood. However, the trio managed to flee from the spot as soon as they saw the personnel. Nonetheless, the team recovered 30 CFT wood from the spot. The recovered wood was brought to the range.
