Jalpaiguri, 24th June: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of a couple was found hanging from a noose in the Jalpaiguri Karlabheli Tea Garden Tina line area. The deceased individuals have been identified as Sanjib Munda (32) and Radhika Munda (28).
As per the report, Sanjeev Munda, a laborer, along with his wife Radhika Munda and their two children lived in the said area. The duo’s 10-year-old son allegedly found their dead bodies hanging from a noose, Wednesday morning.
Upon receiving the news, the locals rushed to the spot and informed the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police. The police recovered the bodies and sent them to the Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital for post mortem.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
