Jaigaon, 19th March: The Police recovered a huge amount of cash from a vehicle in Jaigaon.
Reportedly, the Jaigaon police detained a small vehicle during Naka checking and recovered 8 lakh 96 thousand rupees. No valid documents were found for the said amount. The recovered money was sent to the Alipurduar treasury.
It is to be noted that due to the implementation of the election code of conduct, no individuals are allowed to carry more than 50 thousand rupees at a time.
