Alipurduar, 13th March: A house in the Chipra Banbasti area under Alipurduar district was severely damaged after an elephant went on a rampage, late Thursday night.
According to sources, a wild elephant came out of the Buxa Tiger Reserve and entered the residential area, destroying the house of Malati Tudur. The locals said that such incidents have become frequent in the area.
