Darjeeling, 24th November: Hill Trinamool Congress Party’s Darjeeling district president Shanta Chhetri expressed her reaction after six councillors from Ajoy Edwards-led Hamro Party in Darjeeling Municipality joined Anit Thapa-led Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha during a program organized in Kurseong today.
Speaking in this regard, Chhetri said that if the BGPM will start the process of forming the board of Darjeeling Municipality, then the councillors of the Trinamool Congress party will give external support to the board.
It is to be noted, after the six councillors of Darjeeling Municipality left Hamro Party today, a new board of Darjeeling Municipality will likely be formed under the flag of BGPM.
