Rajganj, 12th July: Due to heavy downpour for the past few days, a flood-like situation has been created and several people were left stranded and helpless. Reportedly, the residents of various areas in Rajganj block are facing a lot of difficulties as their houses have been submerged under rainwater. Besides, several tea gardens are also deeply affected.
On the other hand, Krishnanagar Colony under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat, Farabari, Guabari, Gaurmota Gach under Majhiali Gram Panchayat, Nakugachh under Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat, Binnabari, Angadgachh, and some other areas have been waterlogged.
Besides, Ambikanagar Nichpara of Fulbari-1 gram panchayat, Srirampally, Haripur, Panchkolguri, Bakravita, Putimari Dangapara under Fulbari-2 gram panchayat and Dhupguri in Mantadari gram panchayat have also been inundated.
