Siliguri, 16th December: On Saturday, Guru Chhintarmal Sharma, the founder of Salasar Darbar and Salasar Sevashram passed away. In the afternoon, he suffered a heart attack in Salasar Darbar and breathed his last. The citizens mourned his death.
Reportedly, his sons Kailash Sharma and Sanjay Sharma stated that on Sunday, his “Antim Yatra” will leave for Ram Ghat, from Salasar Darbar, Santoshi Nagar at 11 a.m.
It is to be noted that Guru Chhintarmal Sharma was associated with social service works through Salasar Darbar and Salasar Sevashram for a prolonged time along with that he had decided to donate his eyes posthumously.
