Alipurduar, 06th April: Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. In this regard, the Alipurduar district also marked the festival with joy and excitement.
Today, a procession was taken in the Hasimara area under the Kalchini block. On the other hand, a grand procession was also taken out by the Marwari Thakurbari Committee in Alipurduar on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The rally circumambulated various areas of Alipurduar and witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees in the said procession.
