Naxalbari, 03rd September: Gate meetings were organized in different tea gardens on behalf of BTWU Naxalbari Mandal to discuss various issues of the tea garden workers.
BJP District Secretary Dilip Baroi stated that gate meetings were held at Belgachi Tea Estate, Atal Tea Estate, Majha Tea Estate, and other tea gardens in Naxalbari Mandal today, where various demands including workers’ bonus, sub-staff vacancy, labour card, and provision of medicines to the workers were presented.
BTWU Mandal President James Khalko, General Secretary Rama Shankar Chowdhury, Prem Prakash Ojha, Nantu Das, and President Manjit Kumar were present during the meeting.
