Fulbari, 18th May: A four-wheeler vehicle rammed into an e-rickshaw (toto) on Wednesday night near Uttar Kanya overbridge, adjacent to Siliguri city. However, after the accident, the vehicle sped from the scene.
According to reports, the toto, with two women passengers was on its way to Siliguri from Fulbari to consult a doctor, when the mishap occurred. As a result of the impact, the toto overturned on the road following which the driver along with two women passengers was injured.
Upon being informed, the police of Fulbari Traffic Guard reached the spot and rescued the injured, and sent them to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, New Jalpaiguri Police have started an investigation into the matter.
