Siliguri, 01st March: In a recent development, the undercover cops of Siliguri police station launched an operation in the Maharaja Colony area under Ward No. 04 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation and detained four miscreants in connection to the allegedly operating a lottery racket in a printing press in Siliguri.
According to reports, on Friday afternoon, the police launched an operation in the printing press and seized several cartons of fake lotteries based on suspicion. The tickets of three lottery companies were being illegally printed in the printing press for a prolonged time which prompted the detention. At present, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
