Siliguri, 22nd January: A football trial is likely to be organized on January 23 for the emerging football players of North Bengal.
The trial will be organized by United Eastern Football Club at a private school ground in Matigara. Players from various places including North Bengal can participate in this trial.
During a press conference, the club’s coach Souren Purkayastha said that due to a lack of proper opportunities, the athletes are unable to pursue their talents. Hence, such an initiative has been taken.
On behalf of the club, Souradipta Bandopadhyay said that they aim to build Eastern Football Club as an athletic club in the future.
