Siliguri, 15th July: Rita Haldar, a resident of North Ektiasal, made the entire citizens of Siliguri proud by clinching the first place on her school’s merit list of Madhyamik examinations 2020. Rita’s father is a fishmonger and her mother works as a domestic helper.
As per the information, the Siliguri Buddha Bharati High School’s student scored an impressive 631 marks out of 700. Her teachers and family members are extremely happy with her performance. Rita aims to pursue a degree in English.
Rita stated that her family, as well as the school teachers, helped her a lot with her studies.
Her mother stated that despite several hardships, they tried their optimum level to provide their daughter with the best academic facilities. While the situation worsened during the lockdown, they were successful in overcoming all the difficulties and she came through with flying colours.
