Rajganj, 07th September: Under the aegis of Jalpaiguri Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd the female members of the self-help group will receive first-aid training. Today, the training commenced in the Balaram Powergrid area under Binnaguri under Rajganj where 30 women will be trained for 15 days.
Nripendra Narayan Mani, the Rajganj supervisor of the institution, said that women would be trained on how basic aid and help to provide first aid for various problems. Residents of the area have appreciated the initiative. They said that training in first aid would not only benefit the families of women but also the people of the village.
During this, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti member Prembilas Roy, Panchayat member Vandana Das, social worker Vijay Das and Gopal Haldar were present.
