Siliguri, 11th June: Sensation prevailed in the area after the discovery of a firearm from a pond in the Kawakhali area under the Matigara Police Station in Siliguri on Sunday. According to reports, the locals who went to bathe in the pond discovered the firearm.
Later, the matter was informed to the police. Upon receiving the news, Matigara police reached the spot and recovered the pistol. Meanwhile, police are investigating the entire incident.
