Siliguri, 19th September: Sparks of fire was spotted coming out from an electric pole in front of the enclosed Green View apartment in Bhanu Nagar area of Siliguri. Fortunately, no casualty has been reported until the news was reported.
The locals informed the fire department regarding the incident and themselves tried to extinguish the fire to avoid any untoward incident. Due to the efforts of the local people, the fire was put off even before the arrivals of the firefighters.
