Siliguri, 3rd January: Sensation prevailed after a fire broke out near the NJP station area today.
According to sources, on Friday noon, the railway staff and railway employees were terrified to see smoke rising in the enclosed area of NJP station. When the railway workers arrived at the scene, they were terrified to see that the fire had spread around the bushes.
On the other hand, after receiving information about the incident, DRM of Katihar Division Rabindranath Verma arrived at the scene.
Verma stated that due to the occasional fire in the bushes, he has instructed the railway authorities to take safety measures so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
