Siliguri, 10th January: Chaos ensued due to the fire in the area adjacent to NJP railway station. An atmosphere of panic was seen among the railway employees due to the said incident. It is reported that after the incident, they first tried to douse the fire and later informed the fire department about the incident.
As soon as the news was received, a fire engine reached the spot and extinguished the fire. At the same time, Sanjay Chilwarwar, ADRM of Katihar Division also reached the spot as soon as the news of the incident was received.
