Alipurduar, 03rd August: In a shocking incident, a sudden fire broke out in a truck parked at a petrol station in Rangalibajna under the jurisdiction of the Madarihat police station on Thursday. The incident caused widespread panic throughout the region.
As per reports, the truck had stopped at the petrol station to fill up on fuel at 11 AM earlier today when the driver’s compartment of the vehicle suddenly burst into flames. The incident was reported to the Hamiltonganj fire department. Meanwhile, the petrol pump staff and the locals of the area successfully doused the fire and got the situation under control even before the fire brigade arrived at the scene. Fortunately, no casualties and injuries have been reported.
