Fulbari, 26th February: A posthumous eye donation camp was organized at Fulbari under the aegis of TMC’s trade union INTTUC. Today, a mega camp was organized on the premises of Fulbari Kattala Puja Committee, under the aegis of INTTUC, the labour organization of Dabgram-Fulbari Trinamool Congress and with the help of Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital.
The said camp witnessed a pledge made by 200 people to donate eye after death. During this, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, INTTUC Jalpaiguri District President Rajesh Lakra, Jalpaiguri District Council Member Devashish Pramanik, Dabgram-Fulbari INTTUC Block President Sukant Kar, Fulbari Number 2 Gram Panchayat Pradhan Dilip Roy and others were present.
