Enforcement Branch launched operations in Kaliyaganj oil mill, 251 tins of mustard oil seized

Raiganj, 15th June: The Enforcement Branch of Raiganj District Police raided an oil mill located in ​​Kaliyaganj Tarangapur Baral area after speculations surfaced regarding adulteration of mustard oil.


According to sources, with the assistance of the local police station, the operation was carried out under the leadership of DCP of District Police Enforcement Branch Prasad Pradhan as well as the DSP In-Charge (headquarters) of Kaliyaganj police station Gobinda Sikdar.

The Kaliyaganj police seized 251 tins of mustard oil from the mill and also found 5-liter plastic oil jars under different names. Following this, the oil mill was sealed and 3 people have been detained in the incident.


A case has already been lodged at the Kaliyaganj police station based on the complaint of the Enforcement Branch.
