Naxalbari, 28th August: On behalf of Duhita Sangathan of Naxalbari clothes, school bags, educational materials, and food was distributed among the women and children of Azamabad tea garden. Women were also made aware of menstrual-related diseases.
During this, Padmashree awardee Karimul Haque, RK Jain, Azamabad plantation manager Sanjay Dasgupta, Sukhwinder Singh Bajwa, organization head Durba Chattopadhyay and others were present. In this regard, Karimul Haque said that humanity is the biggest religion and that everybody should help each other. He also expressed his delight and happiness to be a part of this program.
On behalf of the organization, Durba Chattopadhyay said that journey of Duhita has just begun and promised and assured all possible help to stand and support the women and children of Azamabad.
