Naxalbari, 02nd January: On the second day of the New Year, the District Magistrate (DM) Preeti Goyal paid a surprise visit to the Naxalbari Hospital.
As per reports, the DM obtained extensive information on the hospital, including outdoor service, the medical department, and the indoor department. During this, the DM was accompanied by the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) of the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad and the BDO of Naxalbari.
In this regard, the DM highlighted her visit to the several departments of the hospital and claimed to have not found any previously alleged issues. She further informed the medical professionals to put forward their requirements and that they would be provided with all the necessary facilities.
