Siliguri, 28th March: The Darjeeling District Congress staged a sit-in protest at Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri against the dismissal of Rahul Gandhi’s MP post. They alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s post of MP was wrongly disqualified.
In this regard, Darjeeling District Congress Committee President Shankar Malakar said that Rahul Gandhi has won the hearts of the countrymen through various programs over the last few months. He further alleged that in a fit of rage, the central government has rejected Rahul Gandhi’s membership killing democracy.
