Rajganj, 8th August: The residents of Panikauri Gram Panchayat (GP) in Rajganj have accused the officials of the Natunpara Anganwadi Center to be apathetic. The accusations come following the dilapidated condition of the Anganwadi Center for several years.
As per reports, the deplorable condition of the Anganwadi Centre resulted in children being unable to study in the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) center. Additionally, some youths have been allegedly indulging in activities such as drinking liquor. Following this, the locals have accused the management of paying no attention to their grievances.
In this regard, Anganwadi center teacher Sunita Roy claimed to be struggling with the issue for a long time. The teacher stated that nutritious food, being a necessity for children and pregnant mothers, is brought from home and is subsequently collected by the family members. According to the teacher, despite informing the department regarding the issue, no response was received from the concerned authorities.
