Deshbandhu Sporting Union hosts Free Football Training Camp for underprivileged players in Siliguri

Siliguri, 14th April: In a remarkable initiative, Deshbandhu Sporting Union of Siliguri has organized a Free Football Training Camp for young underprivileged players.


According to reports, on Sunday, a ‘Bar Puja’ ceremony was organized at Tarai Tarapada Adarsha Vidyalaya ground on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Deshbandhu Sporting Union followed by the launch of a sub-junior football training camp for underprivileged players. Reportedly, the football training would be provided to the players of Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 age groups.

Significantly, the camp has been named as the ‘Deshbandhu Terai Morning Coaching Camp.’ Additionally, the players who contributed to the game throughout the year were felicitated and given trophies on this day. In this regard, Club member Anup Basu expressed his joy and stated that the training camp had been planned for a long time.
