Dengue wreaking havoc in Siliguri, claims another life 

Siliguri, 31st October: Dengue continues to wreak havoc in Siliguri city. and has taken one more person in its grip. Nantu Paul, a resident of Ward No. 23, was infected with dengue. He also was suffering from kidney disease. He was undergoing treatment at a nursing home in Hakimpara where he died today.


Reportedly, Paul was suffering from a fever for several days. After this, his family members admitted him to a nursing home. According to family sources, his platelets were reduced due to an infection of dengue. He died in the nursing home this morning. According to the information received, Nantu Paul used to work in a private company and is survived by his wife and 13-year-old son.


In this regard, the uncle of the deceased, Pranab Paul told that Paul was suffering from a fever for some time. After this doctors ran some blood tests and detected dengue in the initial test. But was confirmed after a re-examination of a blood sample from the nursing home on Sunday. He also added that Nantu was also detected with kidney disease.
