Deepak Shil and Jyotsna Agarwal quits TMC before the assembly polls in Bengal

Siliguri, 14th March: Trinamool Congress (TMC) members Deepak Shil and Jyotsna Agarwal, during a press conference on Sunday, announced to quit the party.

Deepak Shil, who was the general secretary of Darjeeling district TMC, said that although he was not selected as a candidate for the corporation elections, he continued campaigning for the party.

On the other hand, Jyotsna Agarwal said that she has no intention to join any other political party as of now.

Speaking on the issue, Darjeeling district Trinamool president Ranjan Sarkar said that both of them are senior members of the party. ‘They must be angry on some matter. I will talk to them, he said.
