Phansidewa, 16th March: Sensation prevailed in the area after a man died in a head-on collision between a bike and a four-wheeler. The horrific incident surfaced from the area of Phansidewa’s Dangapara.
The deceased has been identified as Ronit Hansa, a resident of Jayantika Tea Garden. Reportedly, the said four-wheeler was coming towards Siliguri during which a head-on collision between Ronit’s bike and the said four-wheeler took his life on the spot.
On the other hand, soon after getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Meanwhile, the driver of the four-wheeler fled from the spot after the incident. The police are probing the incident.
