Siliguri, 30th October: The West Bengal Trinamool Congress Namasudra and Utbasdu Cell have raised their voices protesting against the division of Bengal and sent a message that no such divisions will be tolerated or will they allow to come into its existence.
West Bengal Trinamool Congress Namasudra and Utbasdu Cell’s Darjeeling District Representative Conference was organized at the Kanchenjunga Stadium Hall in Siliguri today. Through the conference, the leaders of the party raised their voices against the demands which have been raised about the partition of Bengal and against the NRC to discuss the various problems of Namasudras and refugees. Apart from this, a committee was also constituted at today’s Annual Conference. The committee will function as the TMC’s branch organization of the Namasudra Utbasdu Cell.
Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress Namasudra and Utbasdu Cell State President Ranjit Sarkar, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress President Papiya Ghosh, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar and other leaders were present in today’s conference.
