Darjeeling district Left Front protested in Siliguri’s Burdwan Road in support of multiple demands

Siliguri, 28th June: The Darjeeling district Left Front protested in support of multiple demands including mass vaccination and prevention of price rise of petroleum products and essential commodities.


It has been learned that from June 24 to July 05, the Left Front is holding a protest programme across the state in support of various demands. The Darjeeling district Left Front, on Monday, demonstrated in front of a petrol pump on Siliguri’s Burdwan Road. CPIM district secretary Jibesh Sarkar and other leaders were present at the programme.

CPI (M) district secretary Jibesh Sarkar said that the government is not monitoring the rise in prices of petroleum products and essential commodities in the current situation. He alleged that the central and state governments have failed to vaccinate every individual. He also demanded an investigation into vaccine corruption.
