Siliguri, 03rd August: Darjeeling district INTTUC organized a protest rally in Siliguri against the incident in Manipur. The rally commenced from Airview More in Siliguri and saw the presence of Darjeeling District INTTUC President Nirjal Dey, Darjeeling District INTTUC New Jalpaiguri Branch President Sujay Sarkar, Darjeeling District Trinamool Sabha leader Papiya Ghosh, and other prominent figures.
During the rally, the incident in Manipur was strongly condemned, and the protesters questioned the silence of the Prime Minister on this matter. Papiya Ghosh expressed that if the issue in Manipur is not promptly addressed, their agitation will continue as they stand in solidarity with those affected by the incident.
