Siliguri, April 15th: On the occasion of “Pohela Boishak” (Bengali New Year), an event was organized at Baghajatin Park in Siliguri by an association of artists, on Thursday.
Reportedly, the association welcomed the Bengali new year through “Prabhat Pheri” (early morning rounds). Apparently, for the past few years, the said association organized various programmes on the occasion of Bengali New Year. However, this time, the association has narrowed down the programme, due to COVID-19.
