Cricket tournament for the blind to be held in Siliguri

Siliguri, 26th February: A cricket tournament will be organized for the blind on February 28 on behalf of Uttarer Dishari voluntary organization. The tournament will be held at the Suryanagar Sporting Club grounds. 4 teams from North Bengal will participate in the tournament.


A press conference was held on Friday at the Siliguri Journalists Club on behalf of the Uttarer Dishari organization. The meeting was attended by organization president Milan Sarkar, advisor Dr Sandeep Sengupta, Jayanta Bhowmik, and many others.

Jayanta Bhowmik highly praised the initiative taken and said that it is many new talents will emerge from this tournament. They might as well get a chance to play for the Indian team in the coming days.
