Siliguri,05th January: The CPI(M) Fulbari Area Committee handed over a memorandum to the Fulbari-1 Anchal Pradhan Namita Karati in support of various demands.
The memorandum was issued demanding immediate providing of land lease to the people residing on the railway lands.
Animesh Sarkar, secretary of the organization, said that the residents of Fulbari are suffering from various problems including improper drinking water, non-operating street lights and dilapidated roads. He warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
