COVID-19 Latest updates: 2,97,535 cases in India, death toll rises to 8,498

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that the total COVID-19 cases in India have risen to 2,97,535. This includes 1,41,842 active cases, 8,498 deaths, and 1,47,195 discharged. 10,956 COVID-19 positive cases and 396 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
