Jalpaiguri, 29th October: Just as the district health department and the municipality had earlier warned the rise in number of COVID-19 cases in the city after Durga Puja, a total of 80 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in Jalpaiguri municipality area in the last 4 days.
In the last 24 hours, 23 people have been infected. As a result, the district health department is highly concerned.
Meanwhile, the one and only COVID hospital in the entire district is almost full. The total number of positive cases in Jalpaiguri now stands at 750.
