Siliguri, 06th October: The Congress as well as the CPI(M) activists staged a protest against the Hathras gang-rape incident and the centre’s new farm bill.
On Tuesday, both the parties staged a protest rally from Siliguri Hashmi Chowk and concluded at Mahatma Gandhi More via Hillcart Road.
Left Front leader Suryakanta Mishra stated that the state chief minister has not yet submitted a single crime report regarding rape of women in the past 10 years. He also condemned the gang-rape that was reported in Rajganj, a few days ago.
