CM inaugurates several projects in Cooch Behar

Cooch Behar, 15th December: After attending the public meeting in Jalpaiguri, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated newly constructed building of the long-awaited Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital in Cooch Behar.


According to the medical college sources, the college has been built at a cost of around 250 crore rupees. Apart from advanced academics facilities, auditoriums, separate hostels for students, accommodation for doctors and nurses have been arranged.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated several other projects from the said spot. She laid the foundation stone of Narayani Battalion Headquarters and inaugurated Jaigaon Fire Extinguishing Center and Fulbari Fire Extinguishing Center.
