Alipurduar, 30th January: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend a mass marriage programme on February 02 at Falakata in Alipurduar district.
Preparation for the CM’s arrival is in full swing. The site for the mass marriage programme is being inspected throughly by the district police administration as well as the Trinamool leaders.
Reportedly, 400 tribal couples will be tying the knot on February 02. In addition to this, Chai Sundari scheme to build homes for the tea garden workers will also be presented in the said programme.
