Jalpaiguri, 05th March: The Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2020, conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), will commence from March 12 and will continue till March 27. A chief invigilator will be present in every examination center to avoid any untoward incident.
This year, a total of 19625 candidates will be appearing for their examination in the Jalpaiguri district out of which 8136 are males and 11489 are females. There a total of 17 venues and 72 sub-venues. CCTV cameras have also been laid to monitor the examinations. Electronic gadgets like mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination centers.
The Joint Convenor of Jalpaiguri Higher Secondary Examination Subir Chowdhury expressed his best wishes to the examinees.
