Siliguri, 26th October: On behalf of the ward no. 9 committee of Siliguri Municipal Corporation and under the aegis of former councilor of the ward and TMC leader Pradeep Goyal, Chhath Puja materials were distributed among the Chhathvartis.
Today, through a program in front of Pradeep Goyal’s office Chhath Puja articles and materials were distributed among 700 Chhathvratis.
During this, Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress Chairman Alok Chakraborty, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress meeting leader Papiya Ghosh, Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress youth President Niyas Roy, Borough No. 4 Chairman Jayanta Saha, Mayor Members of various business organizations and social workers were present, including Council Snigdha Dey Basu.
