Alipurduar, 29th October: On Sunday morning, the carcass of a male leopard was found in the Uttar Dalgaon Basti area of Alipurduar district.
According to local sources, the residents went for their routine work in the morning when they spotted the carcass of the leopard lying in the farmland. Promptly, the forest department was informed about the matter.
Upon receiving information, the forest personnel arrived at the spot and recovered the carcass of the leopard. The reason for the death will be ascertained following the post-mortem examination.
