Alipurduar, 22nd April: Three people were killed and five others were injured in a road accident in Birpara Lankapara road Dalmore area of Alipurduar district, on Thursday afternoon. The incident created a stir in the entire area.
Reportedly, a passenger vehicle collided head-on with a dumper this afternoon. Three persons in the vehicle died on the spot and five others were injured in the incident. The injured were first rushed to Birpara Hospital and then shifted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Upon receiving the news, the Birpara police reached the spot and recovered the body. The body will be sent to Alipurduar district hospital for an autopsy tomorrow.
