Jalpaiguri, 04th February: Jalpaiguri Kotwali police. based on a tip-off, launched an operation at the National Highway area of Jalpaiguri’s Goshala More and booked 4 men along with 75 kg of cannabis worth 11 lakh rupees, this morning. The arrested accused have been identified as Subhash Sarkar, Rajkumar Chowdhury, Bhola Mandal and Mohammad Ershad.
Reportedly, the seized cannabis was being smuggled from Cooch Behar to Bihar. The arrested accused will be produced at the Jalpaiguri District Court tomorrow.
