Siliguri, 01st March: Sensation prevailed after a large quantity of silver ornaments were looted from a jewelry shop at the Ambikanagar Bazar area under the Fulbari-1 region.
It was reported that a gang of burglars broke into the shop on Sunday early morning by removing the tin sheet on the roof and stole the ornaments. The incident came to light when the owner opened the shop this morning.
The matter was reported at the NJP police station. The police have launched an investigation into the robbery.
